NW-SCC to host virtual weekend fall registration on Saturday (8/1)
July 27, 2020
MUSCLE SHOALS & PHIL CAMPBELL, ALA. -- Northwest-Shoals Community College (NW-SCC) will host a virtual registration this Saturday, August 1, 2020, beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at 2 p.m. for the fall semester.
According to NW-SCC Assistant Dean of Student Services, Dr. Crystal Reed, the College wants to give prospective students with full-time jobs the same opportunity as traditional students. “Many of our students hold a full-time job while enrolled at the College,” said Reed. “We want to make it as easy on them as we can to get their classes. Also, this will give them a chance to get any questions answered they may have prior to the beginning of the fall semester.”
On Saturday (8/1), NW-SCC will virtually help new and current students in all areas of the fall registration process including: admission to NW-SCC, course advising, and financial aid. To register for the event, students can visit https://calendly.com/nwsccadvising/virutaladvising and choose a time.
To join virtual registration on Saturday (8/1), new or current students can visit https://nwscc.webex.com/meet/recruiting.
For those who have not yet applied for admission to NW-SCC, they can apply online at nwscc.edu. Students who have not already applied for financial aid are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) immediately. The FAFSA can be submitted online at www.fafsa.gov, and the NW-SCC school code is 005697.
NW-SCC fall semester classes begin Monday, August 17. For more information, please contact Dr. Crystal Reed, Assistant Dean of Student Success at email@example.com or visit nwscc.edu.
