Financial Aid

Visit the Financial Aid Office at Northwest-Shoals Community College to apply for financial assistance or to obtain information regarding the cost of tuition and fees. You may email the office to request a financial aid packet. Remember to apply 4-6 weeks before you begin classes. A courteous staff is available to help you complete the forms.

Scholarships generally are awarded each spring to take effect the following fall semester. Additional aid is available through scholarships and outside sponsors for those who qualify. You may request a financial aid packet and admission information by submitting a form via email.

Scholarship Information for Veterans

The NW-SCC Child Development Center has received a Campus Grant to help pay for the child care tuition of those students either receiving a Pell Grant or who qualify for a Pell Grant. Students will be served on a first come, first serve basis. Please contact the Child Development Center for more information.
