Northwest-Shoals Community College is committed to the idea that we can help each student create his or her own success story. We are dedicated to the belief that you should have an equal opportunity to develop and expand your skills and knowledge throughout your life. NW-SCC promotes this concept by making higher education available to all who can benefit through an open admission policy, affordable tuition, and a wide variety of financial aid.
Additionally, we understand that many may be uncomfortable attending college because it has been a long time since you were in the classroom or you just don't feel ready for college level work. That is why we sponsor a comprehensive program of student services. You will be assigned a personal adviser. We will evaluate your skills to determine where you should start. Our adult education programs help students returning to college, high school drop-outs seeking to study for the GED, and individuals who need to make positive changes in their lives.
Northwest-Shoals Community College has designed its programs to help you regardless of your circumstance. Among the services are night classes, weekend college, child development centers and we offer cafeteria food services on the Phil Campbell campus.
