Implementation
Phase 4: QEP Pre-Implementation
During this phase, the
primary goal is to make final preparations for implementation of the
plan and continue to promote awareness and importance of QEP. There
are 3 components to this phase: 1) submittal of the plan; 2) review
by the on-site committee; and 3) final decision by SACS Commission
on Colleges. The following tasks will be accomplished during July 2008
through the beginning of Phase 5:

Review the QEP and make any
necessary modifications to meet SACS requirements

Determine the methods to collect
and analyze data generated when the QEP is implemented at the college

Establish procedures for QEP
implementation including personnel selections, timelines, specific
activities, and task lists

Initiate budget requests for
QEP implementation within the college's normal budget planning
and submittal procedures

Initiate goals and objectives
for QEP within the college's unit planning system

Promotional team will market
and promote QEP awareness and importance to the college community
Phase 5: QEP Implementation
Once the project proposal
has been accepted and approved by SACS, implementation of the plan
will begin immediately. The following will be accomplished:
