Cosmetology - Esthetics

The Esthetics curriculum is designed for the student desiring a career as a licensed Esthetician.  Topics include facial analysis, treatments, massage techniques, use of facial machines and hair removal.  Emphasis is placed on decontamination, infection control and safety.  Students apply related knowledge and skills during a live work lab in which they provide various skin and nail services.  Courses are offered during the day on a full time or part time basis. Credits transfer to other states.

After successful completion of two semesters of course work and a designated number of credit unit tasks, students are eligible for application to become a licensed esthetician.
