Cosmetology

Cosmetology is a professional licensing program that prepares students for a career in the beauty culture industry.  After completion, students apply for an examination by a Board of Cosmetology.  A student learns basic skills and related knowledge in hairstyling, nail care, chemical services and skin care.  The curriculum outline consists of three semesters.  Courses are offered during the day on the Shoals campus.  Hours and training acquired are transferable to other states.
