Students wishing to transfer must:
- Must meet minimum admission and progression requirements for NW-SCC and the Nursing program.
- Must possess a grade of C or better in all general education taken at another institution and possess a minimum of 2.50 cumulative GPA at the time of transfer.
- Students must successfully complete the program:
Within 48 months from initial enrollment in courses with an NUR prefix for ADN students; or
Within 24 months from initial enrollment in courses with an NUR prefix for PN and LPN to RN Mobility students.
- Must be a student in good standing and eligible to return to the previous nursing program.
- Provide a letter of recommendation from the Dean/Director of the previous program.
- Must complete the last three semesters in the ADN (RN) Program at NW-SCC.
- Must complete the last two semesters in the PN Program at NW-SCC.
- Acceptance of transfer students into nursing programs is limited by the number of faculty and clinical facilities available. Meeting minimal standards does not guarantee acceptance.
