Attention, Movie Lovers!

For those of you who have asked, the film class--English 299, "FILM AS NARRATIVE ART"--is on hiatus. I hope to be able to teach it again in the future, on the Muscle Shoals Campus, on Mondays, 5:30-8:10, in 120-128, the "Smart Classroom." The class meets once a week, watches a movie, and discusses the movie as well as other elements of film. This is a great way to learn about the art of film--its technology, directing, history, use of literary materials and genre, relationship to society, culture, and the arts, etc., for THREE HOURS ELECTIVE CREDIT. There are NO PREREQUISITES for this course. You can still access materials from the Spring 2004 version of this class from this website.
