*I am self-motivated and disciplined in completing assignments.
*I can read at a college level.
*I enjoy writing.
*I prefer to learn independently rather than rely on an instructor's guidance.
*I like to interact with others online.
*I realize that the work required in a distance course is often greater than work required in an on-campus course.
*I am prepared to devote 9 to 12 hours per week to my distance course.
*I feel comfortable asking for help when I do not understand an assignment.
*I understand that because I am enrolled in a distance course, I may not receive feedback from assignments immediately as I would in an on-campus course.
