Welcome to the Distance Education Program!

Northwest-Shoals is proud to offer courses to busy students with time, career, and family obligations. We offer three different types of courses: telecourses, teleweb courses, and web courses. Telecourses are videotaped classes that are viewed at the students' convenience. Teleweb courses are a combination of videotaped and internet instruction. Web courses consist of internet based instruction. All assignments are completed through the course website. These courses provide students with a variety of methods for completing course credit. Our goal in distance education is to offer the technology, flexibility, and opportunity that allows all students to excel.
