The NW-SCC Child Development Center's state funded Pre-K program is announcing pre-registration on March 10, 2003 beginning at 7:00 a.m. Children must be 4-years-old by September 1, 2003. Please bring a copy of the child's social security card, original birth certificate, proof of residency, and an up-to-date immunization form. The application form will be available online the morning of March 10.
Northwest-Shoals Community College Child Development Centers are on-campus child care centers for preschool children. We serve NW-SCC students, faculty, staff, and the general community. Children 2 1/2 through 5 years of age who are potty trained are eligible to attend but must be registered prior to receiving services. Registration forms are available at the Child Development Centers located on the Phil Campbell & Shoals campuses. For additional information, either telephone the numbers listed below or email the Child Development Center.
The NW-SCC Child Development Center has received a Campus Grant to help pay for the child care tuition of those students either receiving a Pell Grant or who qualify for a Pell Grant. Students will be served on a first come, first serve basis. Please contact the Child Development Center for more information.
