Notes on Kennedy: Zac transferred in from University of Alabama at Birmingham after taking a red-shirt with the Blazers last year. Zac worked at shortstop and second base most of the fall and ended up winning the job at second base going into the spring. He is very solid in the middle and should solidify the middle of the Patriot infield. Zac will also be given the opportunity of hitting at the top of the batting order and will be responsible for setting the table for the middle of the Patriot line-up. Even though Zac has not played a year of college baseball, he still brings much needed experience to the team. Zac prepped at South Mecklenburg High School in North Carolina where he led his team to the 4A State Finals as a senior.
