Notes on Jones: Casey came out of North Jackson High School in Bridgeport, AL as a highly touted prospect. His fastball sits between 84-86 and has good sinking action. He is learning to control that movement in order to throw more strikes. Casey has a great pitchers frame and has worked extremely hard to add more weigh. Casey is one of several very talented pitchers that the Patriots will feature this year. He could serve in several roles as a freshman depending on his development early in the spring. As a senior, Casey was 6-2 with a 2.77 ERA, 48 IP and 65 K’s.
