Ms. Nora Lee

Ms. Nora Lee is the Athens State University advisor for Northwest-Shoals Community College. She is available to meet with students and assist them with:

• general career and college major exploration at any time; ideally during the first or second semester at NW-SCC
• the Athens State General Education requirements for the selected major
• developing a plan of study for selected major
• the admission application process
• concurrent enrollment with Athens and Northwest-Shoals
• transfer scholarship information and the scholarship application process.
• communicating with the offices of Financial Aid and Admissions at both Athens State and Northwest-Shoals
• setting up faculty advising, financial aid advising, and campus tours at the Athens State campus
• making the transition to the University as smooth as possible
• ongoing support during their time at Athens State, including assistance with class scheduling, testing (with the NW-SCC Testing Center), and communication with Athens State faculty and staff.
