Minutes

· The orientation meeting in Atlanta was recapped for the team.

· Timelines were discussed. Important dates to remember are:

§ November 22, 2007 - Deadline for compliance certification assignments

§ March 15, 2008 – Compliance certification document will be sent to SACS

§ July, 2008 – QEP and focused report will be sent to SACS

§ October 13, 2008 – Onsite Review

· Changes to the Principles of Accreditation were discussed

· Team member assignments were distributed

· Examples of how to complete the narrative were distributed and discussed. Members were urged to use the Principles of Accreditation and the Resource Manual when determining the types of documentation that are necessary for compliance.

· It was determined that the team will meet weekly on Thursday at 2:00 throughout the reaffirmation process
